As a globally active company developing solutions for water and wastewater treatment, we have a special responsibility to preserve and protect our environment.
We understand sustainability as a holistic approach that encompasses environmental, social and economic aspects. Our vision is to develop innovative technologies and solutions that enable the sustainable use and protection of our valuable resources.
We are proud of what we have achieved, but we are also aware that there is still a lot of work ahead of us. The coming years will bring new challenges, but we are determined to continue leading the way in developing sustainable solutions. Our strategy is based on continuous innovation, investing in research and development, and a corporate culture that embeds sustainability as a central element of how we run our business.

Continuous improvement of our environmental performance
We see ourselves as a technology company committed to environmental protection. With our products and solutions we provide innovative and efficient services for the field of water supply, wastewater disposal and sludge treatment. Our responsibility for the environment is not only limited to the design of our products, but also includes state-of-the-art production technology to reduce the burden on the environment, protect our climate and conserve our resources.
This is an idea all HUBER employees have committed themselves to. Our environmental statement describes the strategies and measures we have taken to protect the environment. We want to show the interested public, our customers and suppliers that environmental and climate protection is possible within an industrial company and success can be achieved which improves in the long run both our quality of life and our economic efficiency.
Already in 1997, we decided to set the course for the certification of our entire company according to ISO 14001 and EMAS Eco Management and Audit Scheme (Official Journal of the European Communities for Environmental Management and Audit No. L 168/1 of 10 July 1993, No. 1836/93 of 29 June 1993 on the voluntary participation of companies in a Community system for environmental management and audit).

As a family business, we are particularly rooted in the region and have a special responsibility for our employees, their families and society as a whole.
We create a safe and pleasant working environment for our employees. We are ISO 45001 certified and continuously improve our health and safety management. We promote cooperative working relationships that are based on trust and respect. We take advantage of the possibilities of mobile working and thus enable more flexibility. An extensive training programme is the basis for continuous further training.
As a company, we regularly support social and charitable organisations in the region with both financial donations and non-cash benefits. We also support our Huber Technology Foundation, which in turn supports various projects to promote the sustainable use of the valuable resource 'water'.
