Ventilation Systems

Our clean and safe solutions for use in the drinking water sector. Drinking water must enter the network from the drinking water tank in perfect hygienic condition. This places high demands on the structural design and hydraulic equipment of water storage tanks.

Aeration and ventilation systems for drinking water storage tanks - Efficient pressure equalisation and hygienic air supply

Reliable aeration and ventilation of a drinking water storage tank is essential for reliable pressure equalisation when the water level in the water chamber fluctuates. To ensure drinking water quality in the long term, the air flowing into the tank must be filtered and cleaned of dust, pollen and other impurities.

Our aeration solutions rely on a double-sided air filter unit that ensures a natural exchange of air. It is crucial that the air exchange takes place exclusively via the ventilation system provided for this purpose. To ensure this, the water chamber must be structurally completely separated from the control centre. All other air openings to the water chamber must be permanently and securely closed.

The fresh air is drawn in directly from the building's surroundings, fed into the control room via a pipework system, cleaned there by a high-quality air filter unit and then fed directly into the water chamber.

Accessibility of the air filter unit for regular filter changes is particularly important for long-term and low-maintenance operation. In addition, suitable measures must be planned to drain off condensation water and to protect the system in the event of possible malfunctions.
